What was the main reason you joined Swisscham? When did you join?

I have been in contact with the Swiss Chamber since 1998. That’s when I joined ABB and as a Swiss-Swedish owned company, I represented the Swiss line.

Why did you decide to run for a position on the Board?

The former ABB Country Manager, Péter A. Hegedűs, retired and I took over the representation in the Swiss Chamber. Later, as Alstom Country President this representation was retained, since Alstom also had a significant Swiss presence in the power sector.

What do you expect from the cooperation of our chamber and your company in the future?

Today I am a member with my private company, Innoradar Ltd. I hope that through my previous companies I will be able to perform consulting tasks in the fields of energy, transport, information technology and innovation in Hungary and Switzerland.

What event(s) would you highlight from the history of our joint work?

I am particularly fond of remembering three things. One of them was the support of the Roma youth in Eastern Hungary within the framework of the contribution program approved by the Swiss Parliament, in the organization of which I was very happy to participate. The other was a professional task: we organized a large project for the modernization of the Hungarian energy system with the support of Switzerland for our Swiss department. These happened more than 10 years ago but to this day I remember them as great successes. The third highlight was when I was able to take an active role in founding the Swiss Business Day.
