According to the Statutes of our Chamber and the legal regulations concerning our operation, a resolution of the General Assembly is required every year to approve the activities of the Chamber and to approve the annual report and the budget.
Unfortunately, due to the emergency situation associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the governmental restrictions still do not allow us to organize the annual General Assembly of our Chamber with the personal participation of the members, hence the event will be held online, via Zoom.
Presentation by His Excellency Jean-Francois Paroz, Ambassador of Switzerland to Hungary
Title: The economic situation in Switzerland, the effects of the covid and Swiss-Hungarian diplomatic and economic relations
General Assembly Agenda:
According to the relevant laws and our Statutes, decisions are to be made on the following topics:
- Report of the Board of Directors on the activity of the Chamber in 2020
- Approval of the Chamber's annual report and balance sheet for 2020
- Balance sheet
- Audit report
- Supervisory Board resolution
- 2020 Financial report
- Approval of the Chamber's budget for 2021
The material on the above-mentioned topics is attached to this letter.
Members are informed that the quorum of the General Assembly requires the participation of more than half of all chamber members. If there is no simple majority present for a quorum at 11.00, we will hold a repeated General Assembly at 11.30 after the Ambassador's presentation, which will have a quorum regardless of the number of participants.
Due to the above, we ask as many members as possible to join the General Assembly.
One representative per member company is sufficient (but more than one colleague may attend the event).
The language of the event is Hungarian, but we provide simultaneous English translation.
The Board of Directors is grateful for the active participation of the members in all these important decision-making matters.
Dr. István Béres, president
