What was the main reason you joined Swisscham? When did you join?
As the head of a Swiss-owned company, I felt it would be appropriate and interesting to join Swisscham, before that I was not a member of such an organization. Of course, I was also invited by a couple of acquaintances I luckily listened to. When was that? – well, I don’t remember that, long ago, I think sometime before 2000.
Why did you decide to run for a position on the Board?
I want to be more active and contribute to the further development of Swisscham and such a position is a new challenge.
What do you expect from the cooperation of our chamber and your company in the future?
I am still looking forward to discussions, presentations, as well as friendly meetings and factory visits to facilitate the cooperation of companies with Swiss interests, in order to get to know each other even better. As our company is interested in construction investments together with several other member companies, I would like to be able to send information about a new investment of Swiss interest to the membership in time for a business to come together.
What event(s) would you highlight from the history of our joint work?
In addition to a couple of briefings, I would personally highlight the joint factory visits, during which we learned about many interesting technologies and production units.
We trust that the current risk of COVID-19 infection will drastically drop – but unfortunately, trust alone will not be enough given the current outlook, so I wish all our members and company employees good health in the first place, which I believe is most important.Zurück
