Dr. Nádasdy Zoltán
Noerr&Partner Office
Swisscham:
Aufsichtsratsmitglied
What was the main reason you joined Swisscham? When did you join?
Noerr & Partners has been a member since 2010, so our cooperation with Swisscham is more than 10 years old. Personally, the attachment is even older, as I previously had a relationship with Swisscham as a member of another law firm.
Why did you decide to run for a position on the Board?
The operation, activities and objectives of Swisscham are very close to me. We have established an excellent personal relationship with Júlia, István and the members of the Supervisory Board, so I was honored and glad to take on this position. I am confident that this commitment of mine will help the chamber to function effectively.
What do you expect from the cooperation of our chamber and your company in the future?
The cooperation between our office and the chamber has always been excellent. I attended several chamber events where I had the opportunity to meet great professionals. We also had a co-organized event on an online platform where we were able to reach many chamber members and provide some legal guidance on the central event of the last few months, the COVID virus. These events can be a warning for the managers and decision-makers of companies, even those with an international background, who are looking for an international law firm with a long history as a consultant.
What event(s) would you highlight from the history of our joint work?
I’ve been to a lot of events since my Swisscham membership, I’ve been happy to go everywhere. I attended several Christmas Gala evenings, but I was also present at Swisscham’s 20th anniversary events. Among the events, I would highlight last fall’s business lunch with Swiss Ambassador Dr. Peter Burkhard. It was an honor for me to be invited to this event.
Other comments
I believe that the importance of the DACH region will continue to grow during and after the recovery from the crisis. The German-speaking region has many common cultural and attitudinal features and, of course, many economic and business interests link these countries. Due to Hungary’s geographical proximity, it must also take an active part in these collaborations. I also see many new opportunities for Swisscham to integrate Hungarian economic interests into the wider DACH region.
My attachment to Switzerland is also personal in my spare time; we like to go skiing or mountain climbing. I have been to several mountain peaks above 4000 m; this summer on the Dom (4545m), the highest mountain in Switzerland; an indescribable experience.
