What was the main reason you joined Swisscham? When did you join?
From my part, together with István, (Dr. Béres István) we have been founding members since 1995.
There was no Swiss Chamber in Hungary at that time, so we decided with some leading personalities that such a Swiss representation was also needed. János Martonyi was also a great helper in the founding.
Why did you decide to run for a position on the Board?
Since we represent one of the largest Swiss companies (Zutltzer Kft.) In Hungary, it was a natural thing to be a member and even the president of the chamber.
What event(s) would you highlight from the history of our joint work?
Our first and greatest guest was Árpád Göncz in 1998.
