Advantage Austria Budapest organized a webinar on cybersecurity in Hungary in cooperation with the National Police Headquarters.

The speaker is Dr. László Baksa, Head of the Cyber Strategy Department of the Directorate General of Criminal Investigation.

At a time of increasing incidents of deepfake, artificial intelligence and online fraud, more and more companies are being forced to take measures to protect themselves against cyber attacks. This problem no longer only affects large companies with complex IT systems, but also small and medium-sized enterprises. Branches of foreign companies are particularly at risk, often due to a lack of knowledge of local authorities’ communication channels or existing language barriers. As in most cases the human factor is exploited through deception, pressure or fraud, most incidents can be avoided through proper education and sensitisation.
