The SMART City Expo World Congress in Barcelona is the largest central event for smart cities, where countries and cities showcase the latest smart solutions. Here you can access markets in several countries at the same time and learn about the latest trends and developments in the use of smart technologies on the spot. In conjunction with the SMART City Expo World Congress, the delegation will visit the municipality of Sant Cugat del Vallés, which has already implemented a number of smart solutions, and the Barcelona City Hall. The delegation will also visit some of Barcelona's so-called 'super-blocks', and will see VW's mobility solutions at the Seat House (Casa Seat) or alternatively visit the Fab Lab Barcelona.

The highlight of the trip is the networking event at the Bayern International (Bavarian Economic Development Corporation) stand. Bavaria will be represented by a significant number of exhibitors at the SMART City Expo World Congress.
