On November 29, in cooperation with our Member company Progress Consult Kft. and SVEB (Swiss Association for Adult Learning) we co-hosted the inaugural event of PROFADUL, the First Swiss-Hungarian Forum on Adult Learning and Education at the Mamaison Hotel Andrássy Budapest. The event centered on “Quality and Professionalization in Adult Education in Hungary,” aiming to foster professional dialogue, highlight the significance and current challenges of professionalization in Switzerland and Hungary, showcase best practices from Switzerland, and present professional development opportunities through the PROFADUL platform.

The forum also introduced the innovative ProfAdul digital platform, developed through Swiss-Hungarian collaboration. This platform aims to advance quality assurance and professionalization in adult education and training in Hungary. It serves as a hub for accessing professional resources, content, and opportunities designed to enhance the competencies of professionals working in adult education. Furthermore, it promotes vibrant professional discourse to ensure high-quality adult learning. This landmark event laid the foundation for further cooperation, ensuring that adult education in Hungary continues to benefit from innovative ideas, shared expertise, and international best practices.
