Swisscham:
Member of Supervisory Board

What was the main reason you joined Swisscham, and when did you become a member?

Noerr & Partners has been a member of Swisscham since 2010, so our cooperation spans more than a decade. On a personal level, my affiliation with Swisscham dates back even further, as I had already established ties with the chamber while working at a previous law firm.

Why did you decide to run for a position on the Swisscham Board/Supervisory Committee?

Swisscham’s operations, initiatives, and mission are very close to my heart. Over the years, I have built a strong personal rapport with Júlia, István, and the members of the Supervisory Committee, which made it a natural and joyful decision to accept this role. I sincerely hope that my contribution will support the chamber’s effective operation.

What are your hopes for the future cooperation between your company and the Chamber?

The cooperation between our firm and Swisscham has always been excellent. I have had the pleasure of participating in numerous chamber events where I had the opportunity to meet outstanding professionals. We have also co-organized an online event that attracted a wide audience of Swisscham members and allowed us to share legal insights. These types of events can raise awareness among executives and decision-makers—particularly those from internationally active companies—who may be seeking legal advisors with a long-standing reputation and expertise in complex business law, such as WTS Legal.

Which joint event(s) would you highlight from your time with the Chamber?

Since becoming a member of Swisscham, I have had the pleasure of attending a wide range of events, all of which I truly enjoyed. I have participated in several Christmas Gala evenings and was present at the celebrations marking the Chamber’s 30th anniversary.

Additional remarks

I believe that the importance of the DACH region will continue to grow during and after the recovery from the current economic challenges. The German-speaking region shares many similarities in culture and mindset, while having strong economic and business relations. Due to its geographical proximity, Hungary is bound to actively engage in these collaborations. I also see numerous opportunities for Swisscham to further integrate Hungarian economic interests into the broader DACH region.

On a personal note, I feel a strong connection to Switzerland during my leisure time as well—I often go skiing or mountaineering there. I’ve had the chance to climb several peaks above 4,000 meters, and one of the greatest experiences of my life was summiting the Matterhorn, one of Switzerland’s most iconic mountains. It was an indescribable adventure.
