It is our great pleasure to invite you to an upcoming event of the EU Chambers of Commerce in Hungary on 29 April 2026 on the occasion of the Europe Day 2026.
In 2026, DUTCHAM is the presiding chamber of this business community and in this capacity they initiated organizing this event to celebrate unity, culture, and connection!
At the heart of our efforts lies a belief in the power of working together. Within Europe we have always been more than just a geographical or economic alliance; it is a living example of what we can achieve when nations, businesses, and people collaborate. The EU Chambers in Hungary embody that spirit: connecting entrepreneurs, supporting cross-border cooperation, and serving as a bridge between local enterprises and the wider European market.
The event will provide an inspiration for new partnerships and be a reminder of their shared potential to collectively build a dynamic, inclusive, and stronger business community in Hungary.
The background of Europe Day
On the 9th of May, many Europeans join in celebrating Europe Day. It marks the anniversary of the historic Schuman Declaration in 1950, which laid the foundation for a new form of political cooperation in Europe.
Every country has its national holidays: moments to rest, reflect, and celebrate. Europe has one too: 9 May is Europe Day - a time to celebrate everything we share!
